About this scholarship

Doctoral candidates at U.S. graduate schools (U.S. citizenship not required) who complete all pre-dissertation requirements by June 1 of the award year and propose education-focused dissertation research may apply for the NAEd/Spencer Dissertation Fellowship. The award is $27,500 for one academic year, with 35 fellows selected.

Submit background materials, a personal statement, work plan, abstract, narrative (maximum 10 pages), transcript, and two recommendations.
