About this scholarship
For Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are enrolled members of the Musqueam First Nation and are newly admitted or continuing undergraduate, graduate, or post-baccalaureate students at UBC (including Medicine, Dentistry, Law, Education, Pharmacy, Nursing, Midwifery, and Social Work).
The scholarship is valued up to $5,500 annually and renewable for up to four years. Selection considers academic and leadership achievements, including engagement in the arts, athletics, school, and community. The application requires a 500 to 750 word personal statement, two community references, and written permission for UBC to share the application with Musqueam First Nation for final selection.
UBC's President's Office created the award to acknowledge the university's relationship with the Musqueam First Nation.
