About this scholarship
The Murphey Foundation Scholarship supports up to eight entering W.A. Franke Honors freshmen from Pima County with $3,000 annually plus two $1,500 stipends for study abroad, research, or internship support. Applicants need a minimum 3.2 high school GPA and must apply February 15 through April 1, 2027 on ScholarshipUniverse. Recipients must enroll full time at the University of Arizona Tucson campus and participate in the Franke Honors College. The total potential award including both stipends is $6,000 over the award period in addition to the annual scholarship.
