About this scholarship
The Mulcahy Scholarship at Loyola University Chicago supports College of Arts and Sciences undergraduates majoring in the natural sciences who conduct faculty-mentored research projects over the academic year. Each recipient receives a one-thousand-dollar stipend and may receive up to one thousand dollars in project support. Applications are due March 1 through LUROP and include a project description, budget, and separate faculty mentor letter. Scholars must present results at Loyola's annual Undergraduate Research and Engagement Symposium. Projects may span disciplines outside the student's major with faculty mentor support.
