About this scholarship
State last-dollar scholarship for Minnesota residents of American Indian ancestry enrolled at Bemidji State University who demonstrate financial need after other aid. Undergraduate recipients may receive up to $4,000 per academic year toward remaining cost of attendance. Eligibility requires one-fourth or more American Indian ancestry or enrolled tribal membership, Minnesota residency, at least three-quarter time undergraduate enrollment, Pell or State Grant eligibility, and satisfactory academic progress. Apply through the Minnesota Indian Scholarship application, FAFSA or Minnesota Dream Act, and tribal education funds by the July 1 priority deadline.
