The Merit Plus Award at Northern Michigan University provides additional scholarship funding to admitted students who submit ACT or SAT scores meeting published thresholds alongside a 3.0 or higher high school GPA. The award stacks with Wildcat Merit and Bridge scholarships. It renews for up to eight semesters while recipients maintain full-time enrollment and a 3.0 cumulative NMU GPA.
