About this scholarship
The Merit Plus Award at Northern Michigan University provides additional scholarship funding to admitted students who submit ACT or SAT scores meeting published thresholds alongside a 3.0 or higher high school GPA. Students with an ACT score of 33 or higher or SAT score of 1450 or higher receive three thousand dollars per year, and students with an ACT score of 30 to 32 or SAT score of 1360 to 1440 receive one thousand dollars per year. The award stacks with Wildcat Merit and Bridge scholarships. It renews for up to eight semesters while recipients maintain full-time enrollment and a 3.0 cumulative NMU GPA.
