About this scholarship
The Medill Centennial Graduate Scholarship is a permanently endowed need-based fund created with alumni support and a major gift from the Robert R. McCormick Foundation to strengthen diversity and access in Medill graduate programs. Graduate applicants who meet Medill admission requirements and demonstrate financial need are automatically considered when they complete Medill's financial aid application materials alongside the FAFSA. Awards began in the 2022–23 academic year and continue as part of Medill's endowed scholarship portfolio. The scholarship helps future journalists and integrated marketing professionals afford Northwestern's graduate training without a separate named-fund application.
