About this scholarship
WMU's most prestigious merit scholarship for incoming first-year students selected through holistic review of the complete admission application. The package valued at approximately ninety-four thousand dollars over four years includes up to sixteen thousand dollars per year for tuition and fees, housing support up to six thousand seven hundred fifty-nine dollars per year in designated residence halls, and a one-time three-thousand-dollar engagement stipend for study abroad or research. Up to sixty semifinalists interview each year to select up to twenty scholars. Submit a complete admission file by the December 1 Early Action deadline. Renewable for eight fall and spring semesters with a 3.5 GPA and twenty-eight completed hours annually.
