About this scholarship
The McSweeney Scholarship provides four thousand dollars total, distributed evenly over four years, to two domestic students from the Class of 2030 who commit to majoring, minoring, or taking consistent French and Francophone Studies coursework at Wooster. Faculty in the department select recipients based on dedication to deepening knowledge of Francophone language, culture, and history. The award is in addition to other merit scholarships. Applicants submit the admission application and the McSweeney Scholarship application form by February 1.
