About this scholarship
Prestigious Top Scholar award for incoming non-South Carolina resident freshmen at USC Columbia. Twenty students are named McNair Scholars each year based on academics and leadership. Recipients receive $24,000 annually plus in-state tuition rate and a $14,000 enrichment fund over four years. Candidates must submit the general application and South Carolina Honors College application by November 15 and complete a mandatory Top Scholar Weekend interview.
