Mavin Wong ’84 Bursary

For JD students at Osgoode Hall Law School in financial need who face visible and invisible obstacles such as income; mental health; racial, cultural, and gender inequalities; or physical and learning challenges.

The bursary amount varies. Funds were matched by Osgoode through the No Barriers initiative.

Named for Mavin Wong (LLB 1984), who practised as a criminal defence lawyer before her appointment to the Ontario Court of Justice in 2000. At Osgoode she was involved in Faculty Council, Mock Trial, CLASP, and served as President of Legal & Lit.
