Margaret Fischer ’79 Bursary

JD students at Osgoode Hall Law School in financial need who face visible or invisible obstacles such as income barriers, mental health challenges, racial, cultural or gender inequalities, or physical and learning challenges may receive this bursary. Endowment funds were matched by Osgoode through the No Barriers initiative. The award amount varies.

Margaret Fischer '79 came to Osgoode from social work, practiced family and real estate law, and later directed Real Estate Law for the City of Toronto. Law school friends and family established the bursary in her memory.
