About this scholarship
Members of the Marching Great Danes and UAlbany Spirit Band who register for the respective course receive a $500 scholarship each semester of participation, totaling $1,000 per year. No separate application is required; the scholarship posts during each semester of active band participation. For in-state students it is a non-tuition award applied to fees, room, board, books, and other personal expenses.
