About this scholarship
The MacDonald Scholars Program supports incoming IU Bloomington undergraduates with a passion for civic engagement and community service. In-state scholars receive $7,000 per year ($28,000 over four years) and out-of-state scholars receive $10,000 per year ($40,000 over four years). Applicants must demonstrate financial need through a completed FAFSA, submit the IU Scholarships Application, and complete the IUB-Scott MacDonald Scholars Program supplemental application by February 1. Scholars must maintain a 2.5 GPA, enroll in at least twelve credit hours, complete 192 annual community service hours, and follow the IU Code of Student Rights, Responsibilities, and Conduct.
