About this scholarship
The Lucy Allen Paton Prizes in the Humanities, established under the will of Lucy Allen Paton, award one prize annually to the Harvard College senior and one to the junior who manifest the greatest promise in the humanities or the fine arts, or who have been elected to Phi Beta Kappa because of proficiency in those subjects. Instructors nominate or identify eligible students; there is no separate student application. Recent junior and senior recipients have each received five hundred dollars.
