Legal U.S. residents who are high school seniors, vocational students, undergraduates, or graduate students with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and good academic standing may apply for the Lowenthal & Abrams $1,000 Hospital Safety Awareness Scholarship. The application requires a 750- to 1,000-word student-authored essay proposing laws that would make hospitals safer, a professional resume, and a current transcript. High school applicants who are not yet enrolled must also upload proof of acceptance. Employees of Lowenthal & Abrams and their immediate family or household members are ineligible.
