About this scholarship
Merit scholars program for instrumentalists and vocalists admitted to Brandeis who submit a recorded music audition through Slideroom on the application supplement. Faculty review two to three recordings and select scholars in conjunction with admissions; awards are announced at admission. Benefits include free private lessons with Brandeis music faculty, professional chamber coaching, and unique performance opportunities. Scholars must declare a music major or minor and maintain satisfactory participation in program ensembles. Slideroom deadlines align with admission plans, with Regular Decision due February 1.
