About this scholarship
Participants in the free LEAD first-year experience program at UW-Stevens Point may apply for one of fifteen $1,000 scholarships after joining the year-long bridge and community program on the Stevens Point campus. LEAD serves first-generation, low-income, or foster-care-connected incoming freshmen who commit to enrolling for fall and living in the Burroughs Hall community. Scholars attend an August bridge week, receive peer mentoring, and engage in leadership programming. Scholarship details and the application process are shared during LEAD Week. The LEAD program application deadline is July 31.
