About this scholarship

Second- or third-year Osgoode Hall Law School JD students who are members of a visible minority group, Indigenous persons, persons with a disability, or LGBTQ students, and who are in good academic standing, may be considered.

Two awards are selected at Osgoode each year. The amount varies. Selection is based primarily on financial need, with consideration for academic achievement and commitment to community or university service. Apply through the Osgoode bursary program.

The Law Society of Ontario established the Education Equity Awards, funded by LexisNexis, to encourage diversity and equity in legal education and practice.
