About this scholarship
The Laker Catalyst Award is an automatic merit scholarship for first-time domestic freshmen entering Lake Superior State University. Students must meet both the minimum cumulative high school GPA and ACT or SAT score for their tier; meeting only one criterion does not qualify. Tier 3 requires a 3.75 or higher GPA plus ACT 25 or higher or SAT 1200 or higher. No separate scholarship application is required beyond admission. The award provides five thousand dollars per year and renews for up to four years of full-time enrollment while meeting LSSU scholarship renewal requirements.
