Yukon University full-time pre-apprentice trades students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents, have been Yukon residents for at least two years, and demonstrate financial need. Preference is given to applicants with at least one year at a Yukon high school; if no eligible pre-apprentice applicants, other pre-employment students may be considered.
Two awards of $500 (combined into $1,000 if only one applicant qualifies). Submit the Student Financial Award Application Form by September 30, noting Yukon residency length and any Yukon high school attendance.
The Lake Laberge Lions Club Bursary awards $500 (2 winners).
