About this scholarship
Full- or part-time graduate students based in York University's Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies (LA&PS) may apply for this grant to offset costs of publicly disseminating research, scholarship, or creative work. Applications must be submitted before the presentation and include a budget, paper abstract or summary, confirmation of conference acceptance (paper or poster), and confirmation from the supervisor that the conference is an important part of the applicant's professional development. One award per LA&PS graduate student per fiscal year (May 1 to April 30).
Successful awards typically fall between $500 and $750. The Associate Dean may award all, a portion, or none of the requested funds. Once allocated funds are exhausted, new applications are not accepted until the next fiscal year.
