About this scholarship
The KPMG/Kenneth D. Griggs Scholarship provides about one thousand five hundred dollars annually to one Northwest Missouri State University accounting major beginning with the 2020-21 academic year. Ken and Marilyn Griggs endowed the award with IRA distributions matched by KPMG to assist high-achieving accounting students with financial need. A Booth School of Business faculty selection committee chooses the recipient using academic achievement and demonstrated need as leading criteria. Students apply through the Standard Scholarship Application in CatPAWS between September 1 and February 1, with decisions made in February and awards distributed the following academic year.
