About this scholarship
Program supporting up to twenty first-generation and limited-income first-year students each year pursuing STEM degrees at WashU. Scholars receive financial aid meeting one hundred percent of demonstrated need without loans, a waived summer earnings expectation, a fifteen-hundred-dollar start-up grant, a technology grant covering a required laptop with warranty, pre-orientation funding, and up to two five-thousand-dollar grants for summer research, internships, or study abroad after the first year. No separate application is required; students are considered from the admission application and financial eligibility.
