About this scholarship
Kennedy Scholar awards recognize full-time BYU undergraduates who embody the Kennedy Center aims through international or global focus demonstrated via majors, minors, Kennedy Center programs, theses, research, or internships. Recipients receive a monetary stipend applied to fall and winter tuition and must participate in Kennedy Center events throughout those semesters. Applications are due each winter semester for the following academic year, with essay responses describing international involvement and future plans. The program honors David M. Kennedy and has supported globally engaged BYU students since 2005.
