Departmental scholarship for full- or part-time students at all academic levels pursuing a mechanical engineering major in the USF College of Engineering on the Tampa campus. Awards are determined by mechanical engineering faculty and may total up to $1,600 per year, distributed as three awards of $540, two of $800, or one of $1,600 depending on fund availability. Students apply through the College of Engineering scholarship application with February 1 priority consideration. The scholarship honors Dr. Juan Gonzalez, a longtime mechanical engineering faculty member at USF.
