About this scholarship
The John Bowman Allwein Scholarship is Lebanon Valley College's most prestigious merit award for incoming first-year students, covering full tuition for four undergraduate years. Allwein Scholars also receive three $2,500 stipends during their time at LVC for research, travel, study abroad, internships, or collaborative research, plus faculty mentoring. Eligible admitted students are invited to apply after a holistic review of credentials including rigorous coursework, top class rank, and extracurricular commitment. Submit a completed admission application by November 15 for priority consideration. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 semester GPA for tuition renewal and a 3.0 cumulative GPA to retain stipends.
