About this scholarship
Prestigious Myers School of Art scholarship awarding three $5,000 awards each academic year to the top sophomore, junior, and senior art students at The University of Akron as determined by the annual Studio Scholarship Competition. Open to B.A. and B.F.A. art majors who participate in the spring competition and meet full-time enrollment requirements including at least six credits of studio art coursework. Winners are announced at the Myers Awards Ceremony, and awards apply to the following academic year tuition. The 2026 competition application deadline is January 21 at noon.
