About this scholarship
The Joe R. & Teresa L. Long Scholarship provides $2,000 per year to excellent Tarleton State University students in the College of Education and Human Development, College of Liberal and Fine Arts, or College of Science and Technology. Incoming freshmen must rank in the top 25 percent of their class, hold a B+ high school average, and score ACT 23 or SAT 1000 (1080 new SAT). Returning students must be full-time with a 3.0 current and cumulative GPA. Joe Long is a Tarleton graduate and arts patron; the award supports students regardless of the year they first apply. Submit the General Scholarship Application by the February 15 priority deadline.
