About this scholarship
The Jewel Scholars Program provides up to ten thousand dollars per year for four years to incoming full-time undergraduate women majoring in STEM fields at Mount Mary University, stacked on top of academic scholarships and grants. Scholars participate in authentic research in microbiology through the Authentic Research in Microbiology Seminar series, building laboratory skills and presenting findings at a culminating poster session. The program aims to expand access to science and technology careers for women and underrepresented students. Admission to Mount Mary and declaration of an eligible STEM major are required; contact the sciences division for current major eligibility and selection details for your entry year.
