About this scholarship
The Jed and Vicki Smith Scholars endowment awards scholarships to full-time undergraduate students at Fairmont State University who maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Funded by a one-million-dollar gift to the Fairmont State Foundation, thirty percent of awards are allocated to students in the School of Business and seventy percent are available to any qualified Fairmont State undergraduate. Recipients are selected through the university's scholarship application process administered by the Office of Financial Aid. The endowed fund provides ongoing support to help students reduce financial pressure and remain enrolled through graduation at Fairmont State University.
