About this scholarship

For outstanding UBC Vancouver undergraduate or graduate students of Persian or Iranian heritage, or who are studying Persian Studies.

Awards totalling $4,950 are available through an endowment established by the Iranian-Canadian community and UBC. Individual amounts vary. Submit a statement explaining how you meet the criteria, plus documentation of Persian or Iranian heritage or of study in the field, with the affiliation scholarships application. Awards are adjudicated by Enrolment Services.

The endowment was established in memory of those who perished aboard Flight PS752 in January 2020.
