About this scholarship
The Iowa Space Grant Consortium First-Year Merit Scholarship at Drake University awards ten one-time three thousand dollar scholarships to outstanding incoming students pursuing STEM degrees that support NASA's mission, including preservice STEM education majors. Recipients must be U.S. citizens enrolled full-time at Drake, hold a minimum 3.0 GPA, and submit both a Drake application and separate ISGC scholarship application with a mentor letter of recommendation. Awardees attend the ISGC Spring Research Symposium and complete online professional development training during their first fall semester before funds are distributed.
