About this scholarship
The Ingram Engineering Scholarship awards $8,000 per year ($32,000 total) to competitively selected incoming freshmen at Texas State pursuing electrical, industrial, manufacturing, civil, or mechanical engineering. Applicants must rank in the top fifteen percent of their graduating class and meet minimum SAT 1260 with math subscore 610 or ACT 27 with math subscore 26, with preference given to candidates demonstrating financial need. Students apply for admission and submit the BOSS freshman scholarship application by December 15. Renewal requires a 3.0 cumulative Texas State GPA, twenty-eight hours per year, and remaining in a qualifying engineering major for up to four years.
