About this scholarship
Students who earn an International Baccalaureate or Cambridge AICE diploma may receive this $2,500 per year UAB scholarship after UAB obtains diploma results from IB or Cambridge rosters in July or August. Applicants who previously applied as diploma candidates in BSMART are automatically upgraded when results confirm the diploma. The award stacks on admission merit scholarships but is mutually exclusive with UAB's other national recognition scholarships. Recipients must remain full-time undergraduates and satisfy UAB scholarship renewal requirements.
