About this scholarship
The HU Achievers Scholarship is one of seven Howard University Freshman Scholarship tiers offered automatically to incoming first-time-in-college students who demonstrate strong secondary-school academic performance. Eligibility is determined from high school GPA and test scores submitted through the admissions process, combined with FAFSA or ISFAA data for need-based tiers within the HUFS matrix. No internal scholarship application is required beyond admission and financial aid filing. Students accept their award on Bison Hub and return the signed HUFS Acceptance Agreement. Renewal for up to eight consecutive semesters depends on meeting the cumulative GPA and earned-credit requirements specified in the individual HUFS contract.
