About this scholarship
Competitive research grant for current UVA first-, second-, and third-year undergraduates proposing a substantial faculty-mentored research project to be carried out the summer after application and continuing through the following academic year. Applicants submit a project proposal, timeline, resume, transcript, mentor support form, and recommendation. Awardees may receive up to five thousand dollars for living and research expenses; faculty mentors may receive five hundred dollars in research support. Proposals are reviewed on merit across all UVA schools and subject areas.
