About this scholarship
The GV Charter Schools Alumni Scholarship supports incoming Grand Valley State University freshmen who graduated from a GVSU charter high school. The base award is $1,000 per year, renewable for three additional years for a total of $4,000. Graduates of select Covenant and University Prep charter schools listed on the financial aid page receive an additional $1,000 annually for a total of $2,000 per year. Recipients must enroll full time and maintain satisfactory academic progress. Students are also encouraged to participate in structured student success programs on campus. The award is granted automatically at application review based on the student's high school.
