About this scholarship
The Groups Scholars Program provides academic, financial, and social support to first-generation students and members of underrepresented communities across Indiana University campuses. At IU Kokomo, accepted scholars take two summer Session II courses with tuition and books covered, receive a free laptop, and up to $500 in scholarships toward fall and spring tuition. Scholars must complete FAFSA, attend program induction and orientation events, enroll in summer and full-time fall courses, maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA, meet regularly with peer mentors and advisors, and follow the IU Code of Student Rights, Responsibilities, and Conduct throughout their enrollment.
