About this scholarship
The Greer Scholarship Program at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Engineering provides renewable scholarships of up to five thousand dollars to entering first-year and transfer engineering students who demonstrate academic excellence and perseverance. In partnership with the Greer Foundation, the program also supports students from backgrounds historically excluded from STEM fields through study groups, mentoring, professional development, and community activities. Candidates are identified at admission and notified shortly after; first-year applicants are strongly encouraged to apply by the Early Action deadline. Beyond tuition support, scholars join a cohort focused on diversity and success in engineering at UIC.
