About this scholarship
HPU Graduate Merit Scholarships are competitive awards for newly enrolled full-time graduate students in select participating programs who demonstrate strong academic and professional backgrounds and commitment to Hawaiʻi's communities. Awards range from one thousand to seven thousand dollars per academic year and apply to HPU tuition only. No separate application is required; students are automatically considered upon admission to an eligible program. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA and continuous full-time enrollment for up to four semesters, depending on program length. Roughly twenty percent of graduate students receive some form of institutional aid.
