Gowlings Award

Osgoode Hall Law School students accepted into The Honourable Ian Scott Public Interest Internship Program for summer employment at a public interest organization may receive this annual award. Preference goes to students working unpaid or underpaid. Recipients must show consistent high academic achievement and financial need, and must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons and Ontario residents. The award amount varies.

The award was established in 2005 to mark the merger of Gowling Lafleur Henderson and Smith Lyons and to honour former Gowlings partner The Honourable Ian Scott.
