About this scholarship
The Good Neighbor, Great University Scholarship supports incoming freshmen admitted to Northwestern's traditional Evanston undergraduate program who graduate from high schools in the Cities of Chicago and Evanston, including public, parochial, and independent schools. Students are considered only at the time of freshman admission and must apply for financial aid by published deadlines using the FAFSA, CSS Profile, and required tax documents. Awards range from one thousand to five thousand five hundred dollars based on demonstrated institutional need and replace a portion of Northwestern grant aid. The scholarship renews for up to four years, or five years for select five-year programs, if recipients reapply for aid annually and maintain satisfactory academic progress.
