About this scholarship
The GoldenLEAF Two-Year Scholars Program at Central Carolina Community College provides grants for workforce continuing education students in rural, tobacco-dependent, or economically distressed North Carolina counties as defined by the GoldenLEAF Foundation. Eligible students must be North Carolina residents who demonstrate financial need and reside in a qualifying rural county at initial award; they retain eligibility while living anywhere in North Carolina. Awards can cover tuition, fees, books, supplies, credentialing tests, transportation, childcare, and other attendance costs. Students must disclose all financial aid for packaging; GoldenLEAF funds will not displace federal grants such as Pell but may displace loans.
