About this scholarship
Need-based alumni-family scholarship for Auburn University first-year or transfer students whose parent or guardian is a fully paid life member of the Auburn Alumni Association by February 1. Applicants submit the AUSOM scholarship application and FAFSA for financial-need review. First-year students must also have ACT 25-29 or an equivalent SAT score and a minimum 3.0 GPA. The award is $1,000 for one year. Students with resident-tuition-level merit scholarships are ineligible unless they are Alabama residents with high unmet need.
