About this scholarship
The Global Nighthawk Study Abroad Scholarship at the University of North Georgia awards $500 to support students participating in faculty-led education abroad programs. Eligible students must be enrolled full time on the Dahlonega or Gainesville campus, in good academic standing, and have committed to a faculty-led program by submitting an application and confirming participation. Recipients agree to serve as a Global Nighthawk ambassador for the Center for Global Engagement while abroad and for at least one semester after returning. The scholarship helps offset program costs for credit-bearing international experiences administered through UNG's Center for Global Engagement. Apply through the education abroad office when committing to an eligible faculty-led program.
