About this scholarship
The Global Leaders Corps at Drake University is a selective cohort program for incoming first-year students committed to global and intercultural leadership. Selected members receive a study abroad stipend of three thousand to four thousand dollars toward a semester-long study abroad program, along with mentoring, intercultural training, and leadership opportunities such as assisting with the Young African Leaders Initiative. Applicants need Drake admission by March 12, a minimum 3.5 high school GPA, a campus or virtual visit, and a separate Global Leaders Corps application including two video essays.
