About this scholarship
The Georgia Tech Val-Sal Scholarship provides an annual $2,500 award to Georgia Tech scholars with significant financial need as demonstrated through the financial aid application process. It supports high-achieving entering or continuing undergraduates who completed the Georgia Tech Application for Scholarships and Financial Aid and FAFSA. Incoming first-year and transfer students must also complete the CSS Profile to be considered for institutional scholarships including Val-Sal. Awards are matched from the overall financial aid applicant pool based on need and merit criteria. Students should reapply each year through the standard financial aid process. Entering first-year students are generally limited to eight terms of full-time institutional scholarship eligibility.
