About this scholarship
The George Carpenter Scholarship at Drake University awards ten thousand dollars per year to three National Alumni Scholarship semi-finalists who complete the interview process. Recipients are seen as student leaders expected to engage actively in the Drake community, meet each semester with Alumni and Development staff, and participate in National Alumni Scholarship competition days.
