General University Scholarships at Prairie View A&M University are awarded through the Office of Scholarship Services to newly admitted and continuing undergraduate and graduate students across academic disciplines. Selection is competitive and based on scholastic achievement, recommendations, and financial need demonstrated through the FAFSA when required. Incoming freshmen and transfers need a minimum two point seven five GPA, while graduate applicants need a three point zero GPA; returning undergraduates need a two point seven five cumulative and prior spring GPA.
